Opera Theatre of Montclair is proud to present its fifth full mainstage production, Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel. This fully-staged, costumed production will be sung in an English translation (from the original German). The show will run approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes with two short intermissions. The 22-piece orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Elizabeth Hastings. The production is double cast.
The performances will take place in the landmark Central Presbyterian Church in Montclair Center (handicapped accessible) located steps from many of Montclair's renowned restaurants and shops. Street parking as well as space in several municipal lots and garages will be available.
